For over 100 years, The Home was located at Townsend Street and Hawley Avenue in Syracuse. In 1978, Syracuse Home moved to its current home in Baldwinsville. The tradition of caring that began in 1851 has not changed. While our organizaition has expanded in services and scope, our warm welcome and commitment to excellence remains steadfast.

Our mission to provide a welcoming, home-like atmosphere began with the helping hands of the women who founded our organization. This group of gentle humanitarians provided assistance to victimized women and orphans in the rapidly growing city of Syracuse. Long before social services were available, Syracuse Home provided a welcoming haven.
